Governance, health and safety

Ensure compliance and best practice is adhered to across the business

Looking for an enriching and important role?

As a charity committed to enriching the lives of all, especially young people of limited means, YHA’s governance starts at grass roots level with our members. Our democratic structure means members can influence and help develop policy through joining YHA and sharing ideas on how they think we can continue to improve our work and broaden our horizons.

Working in health and safety is also an incredibly enriching and important role here at YHA. We liaise with third parties and enforcement agencies, developing effective partnership working and ensuring positive regulatory relationships to protect YHA from risk. We cover a wide range of safety and issues, and no day is ever the same.
