The HR and people support team develop, support and implement the end-to-end employee journey, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, induction, learning, development and engagement as well as wellbeing, performance, policies and off-boarding.
We are responsible for the development and delivery of YHA’s People Strategy, which supports the empowerment and development of staff and volunteers. This means engaging with stakeholders in every department on the strategy and tactical delivery of projects and day-to-day people matters. This provides the team with a great insight into the business. Employee engagement and performance is the responsibility of everyone to understand what’s expected from a YHA employee and what that means in terms of our HEART values.
