We are currently recruiting for CampYHA 2017 Summer Camp Volunteers!

CampYHA 2017 Summer Camp Volunteering

YHA runs residential Summer camps that offer exciting outdoor activities for young people aged 10-19 and we would love your help! We are looking for volunteers like YOU to make a difference to the lives of young people and give them a summer to remember!

If you’re training towards a career working with young people, or you are currently in a job supporting young people, volunteering allows you to develop your skills, put your knowledge into action and get some great CV boosting experience!  We can promise you a fun-filled, memorable summer, where you will meet a great bunch of people and challenge yourself.  You will  receive training to provide you with transferable skills and we can also help with travel expenses.

Volunteer Team Leaders are the key to ensuring campers have a summer to remember. Many campers will be experiencing their first stay away from home and Team Leaders provide essential pastoral care. If you are thinking about volunteering at camps abroad, this is a great way of trying it out closer to home. If you have previous experience of supporting young people and thrive in a fast paced environment then this is the role for you!  We are also looking for volunteers with BSL level 3 or above for our deaf friendly camp at YHA Edale on 27 Aug to 2 Sept.
