About this team
The Operations department is responsible for the effective management and day-to-day running of YHA’s hostel network, ensuring the consistent delivery of high standards across accommodation, customer service, food and beverage, educational programmes, activities, and volunteering.
This includes overseeing learning and development for frontline teams to enhance service quality and guest experience, as well as ensuring safe, welcoming, and inclusive environments at every site.
The team is also accountable for driving growth in income and social impact, implementing cost controls and operational efficiencies, and measuring the outcomes of a YHA stay to demonstrate the value and benefits of the YHA experience.
We offer flexible working arrangements – whether you prefer being based at National Office, working remotely or a hybrid approach.
